Community Is Important to Morales
Morales has been involved in educational outreach for the Brownsville, Texas, Independent School District. He has attended career day events and shares his expertise and experiences in medical sciences and martial arts with students to inspire and educate future generations. He spent 11 years working on the “Say No to Drugs” Brownsville initiative.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and actively participates in Brownsville philanthropic and community service programs according to the organization’s mission statement.
Francisco Morales Lozano previously taught self-defense and protection to young and old community members, emphasizing safety, health, and drug-free life. Between 1994 and 2011, he coached and contributed to the Taekwondo Junior Olympics.
A Black Belt in Martial Arts and a Foodie
Not surprisingly, based on his previous coaching experience, Morales holds black belts in several martial arts disciplines (Aikido, Hapkido, and Taekwondo), which help him with discipline, determination, and leadership personally and professionally.
He is a foodie who ventures out to experience the culinary dishes of different cultures. Keeping fit is also important to Morales, so he exercises on a regular basis. A spiritual man, he also makes time to attend church services and be involved in spiritual activities.
His Research Contributions
Morales’ diligent research in a variety of fields has helped enhance medical knowledge and innovation at IOM Dental University, Mexico. He was the Director and Professor of Scientific Research, as well as the principal investigator in dental pulp stem cell research. He also investigated Mercury Heavy Metal Toxicity with Dimercaptosuccinic Acid (DMSA) and 2, 3-Dimercato-1-propanesulfonic Acid (DMPS).
He served as Chief Medical Officer and Research Director at Advanced Light Devices LLC, leading research in cutting-edge medical technologies; Director of Medical Research and Development at NanoMedTek LLC, contributing to the advancement of nanomedicine; and a leader in the HIV/AIDS Research Campaign in 2001 using photodynamic therapy.
Family Above All Else
Above all, Dr. Morales enjoys spending time with his three sons, sharing activities and common interests together, including going to the movies.
A Distinguished Career and Academic Journey
Morales has had a distinguished career and academic journey. He served as Director of Research and Development at Umbilical Cord Blood Bank ALES/VIDACORD in a stem cell project in Mexico City. He was also the Director of Rio Valley Medical Clinics in Nutrition, Heavy Metal Toxicology, Hyperbaric Medicine, Longevity and Cellular Medicine, and Photodynamic Therapy.
Morales has held teaching positions at prestigious institutions in Mexico City, Mexico, such as the Instituto Politécnico Nacional Escuela Superior de Medicina and the IOMA Dental University.
His numerous academic accomplishments include graduating from State University, Matamoros, Tamps, Mexico, with a B.S. in Biology. Morales started his medical studies at the School of Medicine: Universidad Valle Del Bravo (UVB) in Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico. He received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Centro De Estudios Tecnológicos, Consejo Nacional de Educación Superior (CONES RD). Some of Morales’ postgraduate studies include Family Medicine/Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech Health Science Center, Hyperbaric Medicine, Instituto Politécnico Nacional Escuel Superior De Medicina, Medicina Hiperbarica De México, additional Hyperbaric studies Medicine hyperbaric at Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras, Havana Cuba.
